We started in shanghai then 4 days on the yangtze xian and beijing. We have returned from a wonderful 14 day trip to china with gate 1 travel. It is so nice to go on a trip to a place like china where it is challenging to communicate and have all the details handled efficiently and professionally. This was our 7th trip with gate 1 and they were all fabulous. Is the yangtze river portion worth the time. How much extra cash is needed for the optional excursions or can you use a credit. The tour should have been titled amazing china without tibet since we did not get permission to enter tibet due to the 70th anniversary celebrations of ww 11 in china.

The tour manger micheal was the best you could have i beleive. This was our 7th trip with gate 1 and they were all fabulous. Are you with a guide the entire time. Amazing china with tibet by gate 1 travel.
